Custom Hawaiian Heirloom Wedding Band

Barrett called us less than a week before he was to arrive on Kauai. He was wild about Lindsay and she had fallen in love with a custom ring that we'd done for another client. The problem was, it was December 21st and he was going to arrive ON Christmas day, December 25th, and wanted to propose that night. The custom ring they wanted wouldn't be ready on time for the proposal, so we suggested another idea: We can get the center diamond in, and then we can make her wedding band in a gorgeous hawaiian heirloom style, and we could have that ready in time for their arrival, so he could propose with the wedding band and the loose diamond. Then later we would create the perfect engagement ring for them. Barrett loved the idea, he was only going to be on Kauai once anyway! We immediately sourced a gorgeous 1.7ct center stone for their ring, and then set to work on creating a hand engraved hawaiian heirloom band. Barrett and Lindsay are both followers of Christ, having actually met at church earlier that year, and worship is a central part of their relationship. Barrett asked us if we could engrave the words, "He is worthy, " on one side of the inside of the ring, and on the other side, he wanted the words, "He is mighty." As you can see it came out spectacularly. On Christmas day, I, Robbie, drove to the Royal Sonesta Marriot at Nawiliwili harbor to hand deliver the ring and stone, and later that night when they arrived, Barrett proposed on the beach at sunset and Lindsay said yes! We got to meet up the next day to design their engagement ring, a gorgeous version of the original Faith & Austin Ring, and they got married the next summer.
